In the lease category specifically, suites are individual listings so that they can be tracked for reporting and statistics, and changed to leased independently.

HOW TO FIND LISTINGS WITHIN A SINGLE BUILDING

There are several different ways to pull up all available listings (i.e. suites) in a single building. You can do a map polygon search highlighting the single building or complex park, or utilize the physical address or parcel ID. Let's dive in...

STEP ONE: BEGIN YOUR SEARCH NORMALLY

Open Quick Search and enter any criteria you'd like.

STEP TWO: BROWSE LISTINGS

When you find a listing that interests you, and you'd like to see if there are other listings in that building, click on that listing to highlight it in blue

STEP THREE: CLICK MAP VIEW & ISOLATE BUILDING WITH A POLYGON

With your listing of interest selected, flip over to map view and add a polygon around that building. Then, flip back over to detail to view the available listings

Another option is to enter the street address or parcel ID into Quick Search, as seen in this screenshot. Then, simply click your view across the top again, to see the same screen as above.

ENTER YOUR LISTINGS: SUITES FOR LEASE

In FlexMLS, suites for lease should be entered as individual listings so that they can be tracked for reporting and statistics, and changed to leased or sold independently.

Don't worry! This does not mean that you have to enter several listings over a lengthy process.

You'll enter the first listing in entirety, publish as normal, then copy it and adjust the Unit letter or number, and publish again!

How to Copy a Listing in FlexMLS:

If you'd like to be "walked-through" how to copy a listing, click here for the Guided Help Tour: Copy a Listing to open a new browser tab and instruction bubbles will guide you through the process!

  1. To copy a listing, click Full Copy under Add/Change on the menu.

  2. Enter the MLS number of the listing that you want to copy.

  3. Select the Copy photos checkbox if you want to copy photos, as well. Note Private photos can be copied, but they will not automatically be marked private on the destination listing.

  4. Click the Next button to open the listing maintenance page. Make any necessary changes to fields for the new listing and be sure that all mandatory fields are completed.

  5. Click Add Listing to save the new listing.

If your lease listing have several independent suites/spaces available, each suite should be entered as its own listing (by copying the first one entered as described above).

In this example, this building would have two active listings entered.

In this example, this building would have three active listings entered.
