If you'd like to enter a listing into the SCCMLS database (in the sale category) for comp purposes only, you may!
You have to enter the listing first, then close it separately. Please follow the steps below.
STEP ONE: ENTER THE LISTING
Begin the listing like any other. Use your agent ID as the listing agent (if you represented the buyer but not the seller, this will be updated when closing the sale).
Enter all relevant details.
Select "N/A Comp Purposes Only" for the Listing Agreement field as seen below.
Finish your listing entry and publish as Active.
STEP TWO: CLOSE THE LISTING
From listing maintenance, in the bottom left corner choose "Close Listing" from the status list options.
Select 'Y' under the "Comp Listing?" field. Enter the other closing page fields as normal. If the selling member is not a member of SCCMLS, use “9999 Non Member” for the ID.
STEP THREE: UPDATE LISTING MEMBER TO 9999 (if applicable)
Once you close the listing, you will be redirected to the Change Listing screen.
From here, select listing/Selling members
Change Listing Member (at the top, in red) to Non-Member (9999) via the drop down menu.
